- By road: Delhi to Bhuntar is about 485 km, around 12 hours. At Bhuntar the road to the Parvati Valley leaves the Kullu-Manali highway, and you continue to Kasol by taxi or local bus. Local buses may not run at early hours, so plan to arrive in daylight.
The Kheerganga trek
Kheerganga is a meadow with a hot spring, reached on foot from Barshaini, about an hour by road from Kasol. The walk is roughly 12 to 13 km one way and usually takes 5 to 6 hours going up. It is generally treated as an easy trek that first-timers can do, but weather and fitness change that. Snow can settle on the trail from about mid-December, and it may close for a while.
